Hey yall! Happy Friday!
What a week! It's been crazy busy...so glad it's TGIF!!!
We've been studying FDR and World War II, so of course we had to learn about Rosie! We made our own Rosie posters...I love how unique they all turned out! The girls and I had fun dressing up as Rosie, too :)
Speaking of FDR, we also made these little flip books. I got these from Lacey over at The Fabulous Life of an Elementary Teacher and really LOVE them! They are aligned perfectly to our Social Studies standards here in Georgia and are great for review! You can find Lacey's store here.
I started a new intervention group during our Workshop time this week, so I busted out the finger lights. They have been packed away since I moved from 1st grade to 3rd, but they're out for good now! Third graders love them just as much as my firsties used to :)
I applied for the brand new doctorate program at a nearby university {am I COMPLETELY crazy?!?!?}, so I had to take the GRE. To say I was nervous would be a total understatement!
My sweet hubby always knows how to calm my fears :)
Oh, and in case you were wondering, I scored 14 points higher than I needed to!
I won't find out until April if I've made it in the program-they are only accepting 15 applicants, so its pretty competitive! Keep your fingers crossed for me!
If you follow me on Instagram, then you've already seen about a bazillion pictures of our new puppy.
Meet Greta!
She is our 11 week old Chiweenie {half chihuahua, half daschund}.
She is the cutest thing I have ever seen, but such a mess!
We sure do love her to pieces, though :)
Enjoy your weekend, yall!
Congrats on acing your test! Fingers crossed that you get in :) I am now wondering what your one of a kind shirt looks like now :)
