Countdown: Day 9 and Student Gifts!

Hey yall! Almost to midweek...

So here is the balloon we popped today.

The little that popped this balloon had to go chase it!

Our fun for the day? Write with a pen! Luckily, I had run down to the front office and grabbed a handful of pens yesterday :)

They were pretty stoked about it, although a few were quite worried.

"What if we make a mistake?"
"What if it pokes through the paper?"
"What if it gets all over our hands?"

I hadn't anticipated all the questions, so we had to have a quick little lesson on how to write with a pen.

Sheesh.

Anyways, we got through the rest of the day without hiccups...and noone got ink all over :)

A few weeks ago, I posted an idea for end-of-the-year student gifts. Well, I finished them! Err...most of them...

My teamie and I had an arts and crafts sleepover, and we all got busy!

Even the boys got in on the fun!

Then we added the finishing touches, and voila!

Aren't they cute? I love them! I just hope the students/parents enjoy them as much as I do!

Now all I have to do is figure out how to package them, so my littles don't break them before they get home. I also made this cute little card to put with it.

You can click on the picture to get your copy.
If you would like the tags for another grade level, just shoot me a quick email and I would be happy to send them to you :)
